this is the one thing i am most worried about with bubby...when i had T i obviously got the baby blues 1st day after being home and it lasted about 4 days, didn't really know it at the time and really struggled with it, it wasn't until a few months later i realised i had had it...this time i guess i am aware of it but don't really know what to do to get through it easier. for anyone reading and willing to reply, how did you deal / cope with the baby blues, i know it's only going to last a couple of days but i really didn't like the feeling so kinda wanna have a bit of a strategy to get me through it...cheers if you can gimme anything

I had them too. I got them in hospital though.

My way of coping was to sleep and read. By sleeping I wasn't getting tired and hence the blues couldn't hit me quite so hard. The reading kept me distracted.

I also let myself cry. It helped. But then DS2 was in the special care nursery in the humidicrib for 8 days.

Hi, I had them with my first child for 2 weeks and the second time around it was summer with my daughter and didnt have them at all. I would make sure family is around, talk with your doctor, and get rest. All these things helped me with the baby blues. All part of the hormones crashing after birth. Good luck Dear.
